Readyline
Privacy Policy
Last updated June 9, 2026
This is a starting template provided for transparency during the Readyline pilot. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed by counsel before production use.
This Privacy Policy explains how Readyline(“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our work-package readiness service (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
Account information you provide, such as your name, email address, organization, and role.
Work-package content you and your counterparties enter, including references, scopes, requirement values, attachments, requests for information, and the resulting readiness and activity records.
Usage and log data generated automatically, such as request metadata, timestamps, and diagnostic logs used to operate and secure the Service.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain the Service, authenticate users, deliver notifications, compute readiness, secure the platform, and improve reliability and features. We do not sell your personal information.
3. How information is shared
Work-package data is shared between the participating utility and contractor organizations on a package, consistent with the collaboration the Service exists to support. Private notes remain scoped to the authoring organization.
We share data with service providers (for example, hosting, database, and email delivery) only as needed to operate the Service, and when required by law.
4. Data security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted transport, scoped access controls, hashed credentials, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
6. Cookies & analytics
Our public website is designed to be privacy-friendly. We use cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights) to understand aggregate traffic and performance; these do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies and do not build personal profiles. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
When you sign in to the Service, we store authentication tokens in your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in. These are essential to the functioning of the app, are not used for tracking, and are cleared when you sign out.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information. You can export your organization’s work-package data as CSV from within the Service, and contact us for other requests.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above.
